Why PatentSchmiede exists, the status of the company, and the people behind it.

The path from an Erfindungsmeldung (invention disclosure) to a filing-ready draft takes much time from experienced patent attorneys. Ansprüche (claims), description, and abstract must be precise and formally correct, incomplete Erfindungsmeldungen generate follow-up questions, and formalities such as numbering and dependencies are checked by hand.
Invention data is highly sensitive and must not reach third-party clouds in local operation. Model B uses the Azure endpoint configured by the firm. We therefore build PatentSchmiede to run on the firm's infrastructure. The copilot checks, asks, and drafts and draws on the firm's own documents. Responsibility for every draft stays with the attorney.

Before export, an attorney reviews and approves one version. Without Freigabe (sign-off), the system issues no DOCX export.
We name open points and operating limits instead of passing over them.
